The
Croatian center for tourism (Karlsruher Str. 18/8, D-60329 Frankfurt/Main,
phone 069-252045, fax 069-252054, email: info@htz.hr) sends out
a nice image brochure over Croatia, avery detailed map, a tourist
map and a useful brochure on "water sports in Croatia". In addition
you receive a price list of Marinas (however, the prices given for
Marinas are too low). You can also get information at tourism associations
in the Istria region und Rovinj.
The
skipper of a yacht must have a license for UKW local radio traffic
(but as experience shows it is not inspected).
Most
part of Croatia is covered for D1 and D2 (positive experience with
reception at the coast of Croatia).

The
ADRIATIC CROATIA INTERNATIONAL CLUB (ACI) owns 21 important
marinas such as Pula, Split und Dubrovnik. On request (aci.club@ri.tel.hr)
the ACI sends out an image brochure on their harbors wirh an extensivee
description and aprice list. The ACI marinas offer high standard
service, for example electricity and water at almost each mooring
and well cared for sanitation. Price for a 10 yacht 41,- to 63,-
EURO/night.
Up-to-date weather and
satellite picture. The best known winds are:
BORA :
- High air pressure over the Balkans, the air climbs over the coastal
mountains and falls then suddenly with full poweer across the sea.
The intensity drops with the distance to the coast.
JUGO:
Scirocco - a wind that bows from the south (Afrika).

The ALLGEMEINE DEUTSCHE AUTOMOBILCLUB
E.V. (ADAC), (Am Westpark 8, 81373 München, phone 089-76760,
fax 089-76764707) sends out a touring package for the journey on
request. The department for "sport shipping" edited a free brochure
"Sport Shipping Croatia". As an owner of a yacht, the ADAC makes
out an International Boat License to You, with wich you get a discount
for the mooring in a ACI Marina.
A diving permission
(registration) must be get at the port authority. For that general
qualifying certificate (e .g. diving sports certificate) must be
provided.

220 V AC (alternating current), in the marine three-way Euro-plug.
