PULA. Marina Veruda within short distance from the lively town Pula and near the settlement, Pjescana uvala, with its 630 berths in the sea and 150 moorings on land, offers a myriad of complete service for navigators, ranging from the supply and gastronomy offer to various services, continuosly upgrading the list of services according to the wishes of our contemporary navigators.
	Marina Veruda has been awarded the "Blue Flag", the international eco-label for the environmental protection. The islands, Veliki and Mali Fraškeri (Fraškerić) and Veruda (Fratarski otok) adornments the entrance into the port, where on the left we enjoy the view of Punta Verudela with its beaches, exclusive hotel Histria and sports- recreational facilities. We find ourselves, namely, at the place that in ancient times used to be a shield to ships.

MARINA VERUDA

It lies next to Pula, near the newly build Church of St. Nicholas, the patron saint of marines and sailors, where the anchors are dropped and weighed. From this favourable place they sail along the western Istrian coast towards Triest and Venice. As soon as we pass by Cape Kamenjak, by greeting the 31meter high lighthouse Porer, we feel the breath of the Kvarner gulf and of its islands, a breath which will lead our way to the Croatian Adriatic towards northern, middle and southern Dalmatia. Marina Veruda is the navigation home, the landmark and the sign-post. It is protected from all winds. For protection of environment the marina has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag.

Open: All year round.

Berths: The marina has 630 berths (accepting mega yachts up to 40 m) and 150 boat places on land. All berths have water and power supply.

Facilities: Reception, exchange office, restaurant, toilets and showers, grocery shop, nautical gear shop, repair shop, 15 t crane, parking lot. The gas station is in the marina.

Traffic connections:It is next to Pula Airport (5 km). There are regular bus and rail lines that connect Pula with all Croatian towns. Distances: Trieste - 120 km, Milan - 520 km, Graz - 430 km, Vienna - 610 km, Munich - 630 km.
