MARINA VERUDA It lies next to Pula, near the newly build Church of St. Nicholas, the patron saint of marines and sailors, where the anchors are dropped and weighed. From this favourable place they sail along the western Istrian coast towards Triest and Venice. As soon as we pass by Cape Kamenjak, by greeting the 31meter high lighthouse Porer, we feel the breath of the Kvarner gulf and of its islands, a breath which will lead our way to the Croatian Adriatic towards northern, middle and southern Dalmatia. Marina Veruda is the navigation home, the landmark and the sign-post. It is protected from all winds. For protection of environment the marina has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag. Open: All year round. Berths: The marina has 630 berths (accepting mega yachts up to 40 m) and 150 boat places on land. All berths have water and power supply. Facilities: Reception, exchange office, restaurant, toilets and showers, grocery shop, nautical gear shop, repair shop, 15 t crane, parking lot. The gas station is in the marina. Traffic connections:It is next to Pula Airport (5 km). There are regular
bus and rail lines that connect Pula with all Croatian towns. Distances:
